Elbit systems Switzerland is ongoing work on a large project with the Swiss army
We are now looking to recruit a supplier manager in the company who will join the operations team.

C: Education & Experience:

  1. Proven working experience in similar projects:
    – Multicultural across countries
    – Defense area
    – Public entities in Defense business in CH
    – Complex in terms of multiple quality requirements, stakeholders, hardware
    and software deliveries, Multi supplier/multi countries
    – Rigid delivery plan with mandatory milestones.
  2. Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in defense projects, hardware and ideally software integration projects.
  3. Excellent client-facing and internal communication.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  6. Strong working knowledge along the entire Microsoft Office Suite.
  7. Project Management Certification PMP / PRINCE II / Hermes / IPMA Level B is a plus.
  8. Great educational background, preferably in the fields of Engineering or at least technical background in mechanics or electronics.

D: Job Responsibilities:

The Supplier Manager is responsible for planning the delivery of Platforms and Software Integration according to the customer agreed plan for prototypes, Zero and Serial including the allocation of needed resources. This needs to be executed within the required quality, on time and withholding the budget. The Program / Supplier Manager is managing the contract End2End with the supplier as well, in terms of ensuring that deliverables are fulfilled with Acceptance Procedures, Change Management for new requirements (Back-to-Back with Customer), Payment schedule and supplier obligation in terms of schedule.
