Elbit Systems Switzerland has a new CEO. Andreas Cantoni takes over the overall operational responsibility for the country unit. The 55-year-old from Zug joins Elbit Systems Switzerland from Ti&m on August 1, 2023. As a proven expert in defense and security technology and a long-standing leader, Cantoni brings with him a broad range of experience.
Andreas Cantoni is the new CEO of Elbit Systems Switzerland. The 55-year-old from Zug will take over the position as overall operational head of the country unit as of August 1. Cantoni has over 25 years of experience in the public sector as well as in the defense and security technology environment and is currently Senior Client Executive Government at Ti&m.
Cantoni holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from ETH Zurich and is a graduate of the TRIUM Global Executive MBA program. Andreas Cantoni: “Elbit Systems has become a relevant player in the Swiss defense and security technology market over the past years. I am very pleased to be part of the leadership team to implement the strategic goals of Elbit Systems in Switzerland and to steadily expand the country unit.”
With the appointment of Andreas Cantoni as CEO of Elbit Systems Switzerland, the company reaches another milestone in its efforts to establish a comprehensive and independent country unit in Switzerland. This underlines Elbit System’s strategic efforts to be closer to its Swiss customers, suppliers and partners.
