B: Job description:

Elbit systems Switzerland is the local subsidiary of the Israel based Elbit Systems Ltd. and works on a large scale project with the Swiss Armed Forces. We are now looking to recruit a Marketing and Sales Manager who will join the team, managing business development, marketing, sales and contract management.
The function includes selling all Elbit of division’s portfolios, with focus on C4I and ISTAR&EW systems solutions. The objective of the function is to achieve a sustained increase in order entry with increasing local share.

C: Training & Experience: 

  • Candidates are expected to prove 7 years of industry experience, 5 years of complex system sales experience and are expected to have previously worked with our customers/partners.
  • The function will receive on-the-job training from their supervisors or other experienced managers. This training includes also to receive onsite divisional products & solutions with regular follow ups.
  • Preferred background in defence industry, armed forces background.

D: Education & Experience:

  • Preferred bachelor’s degree or a post-secondary certificate and a federal diploma of professional examinations specific to the sector (marketing and sales).
  • Proven business expertise: Budgeting, project management, marketing.
  • Business development, marketing, and sales: strategic selling, CRM system, sales.
  • Outstanding Social and personal skills: communication, customer orientation, result orientation, ability to change, strength of implementation.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
  • English C1 and Germin C2 are expected; second Swiss national language and/or Hebrew are of advantage.

E: Job Responsibilities:

  • Procures and evaluates information on schedules, requirements, budgets, stakeholders, and competitors of procurement projects relevant to Elbit Systems Switzerland.
  • Achieves growing order intakes: Develops capture and bid plans and successfully implements them from identification to positioning to contract signature.
  • Designs and implements personal selling based on defined quantitative as well as qualitative targets and takes responsibility for achieving these targets in the sales territory.
  • Leading high end technology campaigns involving large scale software , hardware and multi domain sophisticated system.
  • Fostering strategic collaborations with local government offices, agents, and industries.
  • Supports the sales management in all administrative and coordinative tasks, maintains and develops customer relationships himself/herself. The area of work covers all sales processes, from the collection and analysis of customer needs, the design of market services and the processing of the market to the conclusion of sales and measures for customer care, retention, and intensification.
  • Supervises his area of work independently. As a crucial link between the company and its customers, he bears great responsibility and has a decisive influence on the success of the company. He represents the company, maintains active contact with customers and acts independently.
